Inkheart

So, I actually finished Inkheart before I finished Phantom Island, but Phantom Island was much more important to me.

Inkheart was very interesting.
It took me several days to read it.
It was long, and rather slow at times.
However, I enjoyed the story.
It really was a good book.
I must admit I have often wished I could jump into a book and WATCH the story happen.
But I have never thought "What would happen if the sotry jumped OUT?"
Now that I've considered it, it's thoroughly interesting, if not somewhat frightening.

I must also say that the similarities between myself and the main character were funny to me
Both of us named (or called..) Meggi
Both of us love to read
Both of us can't stand to see books mistreated
Both of us completely devoted to our dads
Both of us related to crazy old ladies..
the list goes on.

It was like reading about myself, the way I wish life could be (millions of books, getting to meet the characters) Of course, it made me think twice about wanting that...

I can't wait to read Inkspell and Inkdeath. I'm hoping to make a trip to the bookstore tomorrow.
