Books by Ellen Hopkins

So I have read Crank and Glass, and now I'm working on Impulse, to be followed by Burned.

These books are bizarre. The stories they tell are sad, depressing, scary, horrible. Full of the darker side of humanity. Depression, addiction, abuse, all of the things that no one wants to talk about.

Maybe that is why it is so hard to put them down. You can't stop reading, because you realize these are the things that people hide, some people don't even realize that there are people that think like this. Most people don't know anyone who HASN'T. It's morbidly fascinating.

It's interesting. It's terrifying. It really makes you think: Especially if you've ever had thoughts like these of your own, you know that it could be your life. Very very interesting.
